Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Hillside cottage. We arrived after dark and woke up to the most amazing panoramic view of Somes Sound and Sargent Mountain. The "quiet side" of Mt. Desert Island is a great choice and is easily accessible to Acadia's hiking, biking, and carriage roads and related activities. Paul and Ashlee are super hosts with quick response times and answers to all our questions. The Hillside cottage was clean and well stocked for meal preparations and the indoor fireplace was a hit for everyone. Chambers Oceanfront Cottages is definitely a fire star experience.
