Hill Side Cottage sits in the center of our property shoreline, and about 100 feet from the Ocean. Hill Side Cottage offers all the amenities of home, including: Full size appliances, washer / Dryer, all linens, granite fire place, large deck, flat screen satellite TV with 115 channels, free WiFi access, private parking with unobstructed breathtaking views over Somes Sound and Sargent Mountain. Hill Side Cottage comes with a deep water dock perfect for fishing or keeping your boat. Enjoy the sunrise and quiet island atmosphere from your own deck, and listen to the loons at sunset. A deep water mooring is complimentary if you are bringing / renting a boat. Hill Side Cottage is well maintained, and kept to the highest standards in cleanliness and quality. We provide all the firewood you need, soap, detergent, paper towels, trash removal, and even a large kettle to cook your fresh Maine lobsters which you may purchase at boat price from our dock. Enjoy fine local restaurants, and spend the day in Bar Harbor which is only a 10 minute drive.

Hill Side Cottage has one of the largest decks of all our cottages.  2 Sliding glass doors allow a cool sea breeze to pass into your living room, while 1 extra sliding door allows you access to the deck from your queen size bedroom.  Enjoy a large living space with fire place, and a loft with twin beds for the kids, or extra company.
