Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Hillside cottage. We arrived after dark and woke up to the most amazing panoramic view of Somes Sound and Sargent Mountain. The “quiet side” of Mt. Desert Island is a great choice and is easily accessible to Acadia’s hiking, biking, and carriage roads and related activities. Paul and Ashlee are super hosts with quick response times and answers to all our questions. The Hillside cottage was clean and well stocked for meal preparations and the indoor fireplace was a hit for everyone. Chambers Oceanfront Cottages is definitely a fire star experience.

Our family had the most wonderful time together at Stone Bluff. This was our first time staying here and really hoping to be back someday. I think any of their cottages would be just as amazing. We arrived when it was dark but the signage made it easy to find and when we woke up in the morning we were in awe at the beautiful view! We probably didn’t have to hike up mountains to enjoy a view as good as this. But exploring the many hikes in Acadia as well as the towns were so fun. The beds were very comfortable and liked having comfortable couches to relax in after hiking all day. It had everything we needed. Paul really thought of all the details. Always responsive and so kind. Thank you for the opportunity to stay here making special family memories we will always treasure.
