Second year but at Topside and the view is amazing! Easy access to the Sound, short drive to Cadillac Mtn and getting fresh lobsters from the dock tonight.A wonderful peaceful refuge!

We have been coming to Mount Desert Island for over 30 years and love it here. We have vacationed at Hill Side Cottage. for 3 season. It is the best cottage we have stayed at. Everything is first rate. It is amazing! It has panoramic views of Somes Sound from our large deck and from the living room sofa. It is on the quiet side of the island and very accessible to Acadia’s trails and activities. It is homey and comfortable. In addition Paul, who is a lobsterman, has been very responsive to our needs as well providing freshly caught lobster at market rates. His lobster is the sweetest we’ve ever eaten. We can’t wait for next year!

Lobsters for sale Lobsters are available at our main dock June through October, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5pm to 5:30. Lobsters are caught by Paul & Don and are rumored to be the best tasting lobsters on the Island :o)
